the more i look at drifting, the more i want to get into it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JWQa2rZKntM this is one of my friends' practices from a while back.

of course i still like autox the most, it is probably the safest form of racing

i'm in the same boat, its just too expensive, i'd definitely get a piece of shit beater even if its another 7 just something that i wouldn't be scared to throw it into the wall

after my cousin crashed 3 of his cars (asleep at the wheel... or so he says).. i decided not to let him drive my car.

openshot 05-01-09 06:29 PM

that sucks. what kind of rims are they?

char1325 05-01-09 11:48 PM

hey this weekend I could give out my 7 to a guy who drives a front wheel drive car and let him autocross it at the local oval race track, you know one with nice concrete walls, ya think I should?

I know a guy who is dirt poor and drives a huyndai who would like to autocross my 7 racecar at the local oval racetrack, you know one with concrete walls, ya think?

And based on the above, it almost implies that you loaned him the car specifically for the purpose of drifting on the streets.

What I really don't understand is why you are surprised by the results of the choices that were made... All I can say is that I hope you learned something from all of this. I've made enough stupid choices in my past that I am now a certified genius. :)

i let him take it for a spin cuz him and my brother drove it before, i recently put in a better straight pipe and intake and let them try it again, i expect something to go wrong as soon as they left the drive way so there was no surprise, just disappointment that i was right. and at the extent of my being right.... i was hoping for just some curb rash on the wheels....

no one's immune to stupid drivers, i just spun out my car going way too hot on an onramp. hit the curb with the front wheels. almost no damage. moved the wheel a little bit. so i'll probably get new tierods... i was going to get them anyway :P

One of these days, the drifters are going to realize that drifiting was thought up by the very people who sell you the very parts that you usually ruin while drifting.
