Konzine 05-24-08 12:45 PM

sorry if i posted this in the wrong area.. Go ahead and move it.

My question was just for some more pics. I really like the way he put it together, the car is sick.

Experiment.Seven 05-24-08 01:09 PM

I think that site pretty much covered everything that's on the car..

Experiment.Seven 05-24-08 01:34 PM

Sexy car fer sure. Love his hood modification..

You're trying to make yours like his? Or just pulling ideas out of his?

Pulling ideas.. I really like his car as a whole but I AM wanting to adapt some ideas. The headlights, well im working on some brackets now (might produce them for resell who knows :D) its just the glass im concerned about. Plexi glass scratches all to easy and glass molding maybe spendy.. Not sure yet how I am going to do it.

Experiment.Seven 05-24-08 03:24 PM

Hmmm Lexan works well...but scratches too. =/

Not sure man. GL with it though.

You should make the hood like his but add your own style to it. Personally, that's the key-point of his car..it's just so nice. =]

When will a Mod put this in non-tech?? o_O

Konzine 05-24-08 03:45 PM

yes this is a non tech issue my bad rofl.. all the mods are hammered.

His hood is hot as all hell.. I like it A LOT

WOW. i like that.

where the hell do people find fender flares for the FB though? I assuming someone found a vehicle that is "close" enough to work?

TheRX7Project 05-30-08 09:10 AM

Am I alone here? I think that car is UGLY with a capital UG. Then again I don't like the widebodies period on a 1st-gen. I also don't like the notch he cut in the front panel to aid cooling. Not that I don't get why he did it, I just think it doesn't match the car. The hood can go too.

I'm not trying to be an ass, but I just can't find anything to like, let alone love, about that car's appearance.

Don't like widebodys, bah humbug to you, lol. Check out the 'My Toy' link in my sig line, that's the widest aftermarket available. Newbs, .

I you ever have the chance to pull up next to Steve's car, better be driving a 3rd gen unless you want your left in the dust. Even then, all you will see is tail lights.

If need more width for wider tires, fender flares is another option.

I'm not doubting the car is fast. I'm sure it's still plenty lightweight and has some serious power.

I just think widebody first-gens don't look right. Get decent rubber and you won't need 15" wide tires.

yetterben 05-31-08 11:15 AM

This comeing from the guy that bought the piss car we all flamed!

john smack 05-31-08 01:47 PM

I want to know more about the grey one!
That car looks awsome!!

FirebirdSlayer666 05-31-08 02:59 PM

Steve's car is actually a great example of function over form. Everything on his car is there to serve a function. I'm not a huge fan of the Mariah front ends all together(just too MKIII Supra for me) but he makes it look damn good

whereiscarmensandiego 05-31-08 03:15 PM

i think that 1st gens with a widebody look the best its the only way i would ever own one. when i first saw steves car it looked more like a 240 untill i saw the rx7 features and i love that grey one but that pic makes it look like a hotwheel

Note, this is RHD, probably an Aussie car with a Group C style kit on her, it probably ran as a CAMS Group 2E amateur racer, and yes I like it, reminds me of my old RX3.

yetterben 05-31-08 06:12 PM

car i think is from japan i am trying to remember the website i saw it on. Its on the same website with the wide body fb that is black and has yellow mazda stickers all over it. suppose when yah click properties it tells the whole story lol
