i'm not sure what interior colors you guys got, please tell us. in the USA, we had red, grey and brown. grey was always cloth, but red and brown were available in leather. i'm in progress still, but so far the grey cloth is the most common (over 50%), and brown leather is the least common (i think about 5-6 cars out of the 600 i've looked at so far)

Cool thanks! Yes you're right about the leather wheel with that notch. Mine have had that too.

We had 3 trim levels: Limited, Deluxe and Sport. 99% of cars were Limiteds. Limited and Deluxe got the same 3 interior colours but using the chequered cloth/velour pattern like your GS models. In my observations grey and brown are most common, roughly equal, with red less so.

All had leather steering wheel. I've attached a photo of an off black series 3 limited and photos of my steering wheel and horn cap.

The Sport got grey interior only but in plain vinyl trim, bucket seats and urethane steering wheel as shown here: Mazda RX-7 SA22C / 1st Generation (1978 - 1985) - Page 8 - AusRotary
