Question (WHEELS) Diamond Racing 13's or 15's

I'm going to get some diamond racing wheels and dont know wether to get 15x7's or 13x7's would one handle better than the other and would I have to adjust my speedo for the correct speed? Could yall post some advice and pics of both so I can decide please. thank you

Well if you are autocrossing and plan on staying in CS or CSP you had better not run 15X7 or you will be running in SM1... Stick with 13X7 or 14x7.

If you have non se brakes, then you could run the 13's. The thirteens would offer a bit better weight savings and also be cheaper to put rubber on. My choice would be the 13's as I think they look much better.

you also wouldn't have to adjust your speedo if you "adjust" your tire size accordingly.

15x7 is still legal in CSP... but the tire size can't be more than 225.... at least that's what the rulebook last year said.

Yea 15x7 is legal, its limmited to tire size... 225 is right.
Go with the 15's. MUCH better tire selection.

225/45/ 15's are the closest match if you want to retain an accurate speedo. This is for a car that came with 185/70/r13's from the factory. heres a link to help you.

i run the 13 x7's on mine and i love them. speedo is off but oh well. the really seem to help the acceleration out of corners in autoxing with that small diameter. kinda weird going to a strip though with those small tires and slightly larger rear end gears and getting well into FIFTH gear in the quarter. i don't have any pics of mine but if your car has been lowered a fair amount they look sexy

I like the look of a really wide 13 inch wheel, plus getting tires are much cheaper. If it were me, I'd get the 13's.

I want my car to have an aggressive look, ride low, and corner well, will do some drifting and draging at the track.

205/50-15 Falken Azenis fill out the wheel well NICELY.... I've got them on my 15x8" Centerlines, and they stick out a little, but that's what CP Racing's fender flares are for

215/50/13 would work quite well. Sumitomo sells tires in that size for the street, and it's easy to get R compounds and slicks in a 215/50/13 size as well.

Iwould go with the 13x7.

you can use the 215 tire, and this is a legal wheel size incase you goto IT racing.

Attached is a couple pics of Robs (rob81gsl)car in action.
