Car hunting during warm up with v3

Hello.
I have a Wolf 3D v3 that has been in my car for a long time now. The engine once warm is tuned perfectly and drives like a new car. The problem is when I start the car for the first time each day. At first it warms up normally with a stable idle at about 1100 rpm. But when it reaches around 60 degrees c it starts hunting, revs drop nearly stalls, then revs rise high, then nearly stall again etc. This problem goes away once the car is warm and it drive fine. The problem has gradually get worse. The only other clue to the problem is that the car cranks for a little longer before it fires. Still fires first crank every time but not as fast as before. I realise this computer is getting very old now but is there anyone with ideas to fix this?

I dont know how long you have had the wolf in your car without any tweaking of the tune.. but I would think you need to fine tune the cold enrichment on it.
I have had issues where a wolf in a car runs fantastic for a very long time.. and as the engine begins to wear, and or the efficiency begins to change of the engine.. the fuel requirements will change.
If you dont tweak them after the engine sees some mileage.. like 5K 10K 20K miles or so.. depending how hard you are on it... your performance will suffer.

Like all of the stand alone ems that we use, they are tuned for the specific engine and equipment we have.
If you take that computer and harness.. and pull a stock engine out of your car, and replace it with another identical make and year engine, that is brand new.. the tune will be wayyy off. It will ened to be tweaked, as the VE of the engine will be much better on a new engine vs a well worn one.

In a race car, if you have a race engine you use, and a spare engine you use... you need to make a tune for BOTH engines. If the first engine fails, and you swap to the second one.. the tune will be wayy off. SO having a second tune for the second engine is critical.

Hope that info helps.

Tweak your cold enrichment I would think.. the transition from cold to hot is off. That or your map is off slightly at idle.. and when the cold enrichment is running, it isnt transitioning properly at your idle load and rpm point. AKA too rich.. or lean. I would think lean as its rising in RPM.
