Love this thread! Does anyone know the offsets on Yuki Kamakura’s FD? I love these wheels with deep dish like this but im worried that with the offsets im looking at i work achieve the same style.
Yuki's FD:
1997 Mazda RX-7 - 4-Rotor for Street & Track
Im looking at:
18 x 9.5 5x114.3 +25 - R Disk
18 x 10 5x114.3 +20 - O Disk

oh yes. I had to trim the front bumper cover, inside the fender lips, and my inner fender well. relocated my wiper bottle, cut the fender harnesses in half and ran them up through inner structure of the unibody. it was a **** load of work.
end result was a car that tucks all the way around with zero rubbing (except on full lock, but there is nothing I could do about that short of tubing the front) while still useful alignment specs.

hey guys seeing if anyone can help me with some input
planning on running a 18x9.5 +13 square setup with staggered tires.
I was thinking 225/235 fronts and 245/255 rears.
was planning on being moderately to pretty low.
i know they will fit but just wondering if people had any tire spec suggestions, camber specs, etc. The roads here are mediocre and my driveway sucks :/
not looking for any negative comments so if an one has any positive suggestions please let me know thanks

planning on running a 18x9.5 +13 square setup with staggered tires.
I was thinking 225/235 fronts and 245/255 rears.
That will fit with roll and moderate pull up front with stock camber adjusters maxed.
Rear will need roll and pull with minimum camber or just a roll with some camber dialed in.
Fits the exact same to the fenders as 18x11.5 +38 with 265/35-18.
Fits a little more conservatively up front than my 18x11 +45 295/30-18 because of the sidewall stretch (though the wheel will stick out 13.5mm more so past the body/past my set-up).
It may or may not be able to tuck the rim into the fender well on compression (a straight edge on the wheel lips also just touches the fender lip on my set-up). It would take about 3 degrees of camber gain to tuck your rim- not sure the FD camber gain is that aggressive for the ride height you want to run.

If you're going by wheel widths, yeah, the outer lip is at the same spot relative to the fenders, but it's usually the *tire* that rubs the fender, not the wheel!
The overall effect on clearance to fender lip is likely to be somewhere between 5mm closer going by tire width and 0mm going by wheel width.
I'm gonna say that 18x9.5 +13 with stock rolled fenders, even with modestly stretched 225 tires, is not the best idea...
I'll admit that my judgement is sorta biased, the aesthetic of somewhat-stretched narrowish tires (stock width) shoved way outboard on low-offset wheels looks, to me, like crap.
