My name is Vic, I have been a member for a few years but have not posted, although I have gone through the 1st gen archives a lot, it has helped me enormously.

I have a 1984 RX7 12A with 345,000 kms and it keeps going....and going...

Good solid car, but rubber parts are starting to go, understandable, they don't last forever.

Bought the car from a neighbour for 250 bucks in 2000. He just couldn't start it- I did the automatic transmission fluid trick and it roared back to life!

 

Vic, it's great to here of another 12A that made it for the long haul.
