Whats up guys my name is Chris I live in Pensacola, Fl. I have been working on and building cars primarily imports for about 11 years however I am new to rotaries so I will probably be asking some newb ?s every once in a while. I just bought an 87 rx7 turbo II that has some wiring issues so i need to find some diagrams and go through this car and sort all the little kinks out. It does have a very solid motor and some very nice upgrades including a thermal research turbo back exhaust I will post some pics up as soon as i take some. peace out guys

 

Chris, it's good to see you're not "put off" the RX-7 due to some wiring issues, which is def something of a black art that does in a lot of good intentions to the average hobbyist picking up a project car. I applaud your spirit and thank you for saving another RX-7 from the crusher!

I finally got the car fired off tonight and was very happy with it still got some issues tho gotta drain the fuel system and change all the fluids change all the filters the guy i got it from didnt know what he was doing at all and im convinced the was just running regular unleaded in it starts to break up and sputter around 3000 rpms in 2nd and 3rd but not in 1st for some reason idk y makes no sense to me but whatever

Well, now that you've got it started, it's time for some research into the tech boards on that problem or maybe just start a new thread in the New Member Tech boards where everyone who participates needs to answer as opposed to just telling you to search for the answer.
