Well I am on the prowl for a decent FD, I was limiting myself on pricing but just realized if I up my loan I may get a much lower interest rate and it would only raise my cost by 10 bucks a month... so might have a couple more thousand to play with, which could be the difference between a nice car setup the way I want it and a not so perfect car that I have to put a bunch of hours wrenching on it......

If you are patient you should be able to pick up a decent stock one for under 12k. I've seen a couple at the local meets purchased for between 6k and 8k. 100% stock.

woot. fds are like a disease you just can't get rid of, even if ever had to get rid of mine i would probably come back to one in the future, i love these cars.

total buyer's market right now, though, so good news for you hope you get one you like. what are plans for mods/wheels and whatnot?

 

def want PFC, prob gonna go vmount, single maybe, might stick with twins but mod them, wheels i don't know, depends on color, black was ok, but I might want to go white or ssm, gotta have the black int though, hate that tan and red is just gross lol...

 

Also be aware that your bank account will double with transactions with another FD. Milage will vary.

LOL yea that is true, wife HATED me having the FD even the FC, always wanted to buy something, or if I didn't want to I HAD to, mainly with FC for the HAVE TO's that thing was from Ohio and had some wear and tear from the elements...

On a lighter note I have decided to save my lively hood for now and get a bike, looking at a cruiser, Honda 1300, gonna get one used, I wish I could afford a Harley, BUT if I had that kind of money I would get an FD HAHA... of course that just all depends on where you are from my dad sees them all the time for 6K but here they are at least 10K... BOOOO...
