Yes and Yes.

If you were going from a 1989-1991 to a 1986-1988 there would be some differences but they would still fit as well.

Due to the mouldings going from an 86-88 (s4) to an 86-88 are your best bet.

While I'm certain there are plenty of people who find me ignorant (ha,ha) gringo is used nowadays more as a term to indicate Caucasian or Western people much like the Cantonese term "gwailo".

While at one time it certainly was a derogatory term and may be used that way still...it generally is just used as a term for white people by Spanish...and Brazilian's...who actually use it for all foreigners iirc.

I lived in Costa Rica for a while and since I'm quite large compared to most people I started calling myself "Gringo Grande" which the locals found hysterical.
