Question My Interior Swap Came With a Momo/Mazda Steering Wheel?

Yea, thats right. On my 88 GXL I swapped out the horrible Blue Interior last summer for a Series V Black Interior that was In mint condition! The best mod I've done up to date!

The Interior was out of a Series V Turbo II. The steering wheel has Mazda marked In the middle of It, In a circle and at the bottom of It, was MOMO etched in too. What year(s)/model did the MOMO steering wheel come In with the RX-7? I guess they had a partnership at the time.

Also, I could be wrong, I was told, when I bought the Interior, that the shift **** was a MOMO aswell. Is their any truth to that? I mean, It looks like any other Series V shifter.

Thanks Guys

All 89+ TII cars had this steering wheel. It's nice, ain't it? The shift isn't, though - just a "normal" ****.

As a matter o' fact, Mazda and Momo still have a sort of partnership - the MP3 and the Protege5 (and the MX-5 M and MS and a few other J-spec cars) come with Momo trim. Expect to see more Momo on the RX-5, RX-8, and the 6.

Niiiiice.
