AZ Knock q's

I'm running ms2 2.1.1 can I run my wire from my knock sensor straight to the ms or do I have to use some kind of unit like knocksense? i read all through directions and never found info on this other than for old firmware. I see that the 2.1.1 has a knock thresh hold map and setting similar to me AEM on my other car. all i did on that car was hook it up tune the thresh hold map and settings and done. is the ms2 able to do this. thanks

This covers the hardware interfacing of the sensor:

It will be of limited use, though.

You'll need the knock conditioner circuit. You can buy a knocksensems I believe it's called which can be tuned to detect knock on the rotary, then you can tune the thresholds and all that.

Is there a circuit i can build in the ms to make this signal useable straight from the knock sensor. if so where can i find it? is the knock control in the pro ems the same?

The circuit for conditioning the knock signal was quite large the last time I looked. I'm not sure it'll actually fit inside the MS.

I don't know what the EMSpro has in it for knock hardware wise. The software in ms2 is comparable though.
