Import Vs. Domestic @ ATCO Raceway

What a day today... Get to the track and make the first pass with a bit of a rich tuneup and the car goes 9.003@158 and to my surprise as I slowly begun to step on the brake pedal at the end of the run I quickly realized there was no brakes.. Holy Sh*T Batman... I pulled the chute and spent the remaining time just thinking about how the hell this was happening and what the hell i'm I supposed to do now.. (Nothing) Well I picked a corner of the gravel trap and went diagonally across to the other corner until i finally hit the wall and came to a stop... What a mess...

Ernie T had front row seats!!!

Luckily the damage was minor and we were able to get the brakes fixed (Thanks Allen) and made it back out to race the event..

The next pass I had some wheel spin early and went 9.49@159.7

In eliminations I continued having wheel spin 1st,2nd,3rd and went 9.07@159.7

In the finals was quite a ride. Major Wheel spin turning into drifting about 1/2 track until i finally realized this thing is going to crash unless I take my dam foot off the throttle and pull the dam chute..

All in all It was a fun day and it was nice to see alot of rotorheads out there today racing and driving back into the trailers at the end of the day, including myself....
Well at least most of them.. lol.

Here's the First Run..

Check out the guys at the starting line.. Guess they weren't ready for the Rotary 2 Step. . lol..

great day indeed. everybody drove back onto the trailers under thier own power and we had a good gathering of rotorheads throughout the day.

i love how you downplayed the "drifting" on the last pass enzo, YOU"RE ******* NUTS! but i gotta say, you have damn good control of that car..

looked like a close race? Would you have beat it if your car would've kept straight?

Tokyo Drift! D1 time.....Good job keepin that thing in line Enzo. You probably have a mid to low 8 in it. Especially when you factor in how much weight you will save with the gravel out

I got to the track late but I saw the 9.49 pass, that damn car sounds sick. I love the way it squats when you come off the line.

does anyone know who was the yellow FD doing "10.8 i think" ? I never seen that guy before.
