I wanted to see if there was anybody locally that had a Power FC for an FD. I live in Newton but work in Wichita.

I am trying to find out if I have a bad unit. If someone would be willing to help me out that would be great. What I would like to do is try my FC in your ride and see if it will work. On my car, the OEM computer will fire up engine and idle nicely! Switch them out and it will fire up everytime......but shuts down after a couple seconds.

Looking for a response from anyone with a POWER FC for FD....Thanks in advance.

What are your symptoms? I've gone through that recently where I did have a blown unit so perhaps I can help diagnose it.

i am running one in an FC but it is for an FD. im running a street ported 13b-rew mine was messing up because the voltage for the MAP sensor was always at +5v and wouldnt let it idle after about 20-30 sec. i had to send it in to get repaired

 

you got mannys car going yet so i can see it out

 

But it still looks SWEET!!!

ryhs is selling the yellow one for 2k if you want it back, but i got the rims off it, rhys has my gsl-se rims on it with brand new tires, not even 100 miles on them, the bad side about the car is that the clutch is toast, some guy came and test drove it, burned the hell out of the clutch and took off

 

In Kansas City, there's a shop called Modified by KC. Scott, the owner, is going through a rotary phase, haha. If you're willing to make the trip (roughly 3 hours), he can help you indefinitely.

 

Did you ever check those things out?

How far is Newton from Lincoln or Omaha? one of us guys here could help ya if it's not too far.

 

Wichita is about 5 hours from Lincoln. Newton is just a little north.
