MN MegaView Not Working

Hi all,

I know this probably isn't the right place to put this up on, but I know alot of the best MegaSquirt users are on this forum. I am working on my senior design project for my university. We got our MegaSquirt set up and running (semi) ok, it's running a chevy 2.2l engine on a test stand. We have lots of questions and its getting near the deadline so I hope some of you guys can help us out, we are getting desperate. Our problem is as follows for this particular issue we are having:

Our MegaView board, connected to the DB9 port on the MegaSquirt II v3 with the MegaStim hooked up to the DB37 port powers up and displays perfectly all the data as it should. Now, when we switch out the MegaStim to the harness we made we can't get the MegaView to power up or show anything!!! We are 98% sure the harness we made is working correct, we have went over it so many times its not even funny

Well, I was hoping some of you guys can give us advise on what to look for on this issue. It works fine with the stim, doesn't power up with our db-37 harness.

We took out the needed pin on the MegaView for the DB9 (can't remember the name off the top of my head), it works with megastim so the MegaView is obviously working properly. We are kind of stumped now.

If anyone of you guys wants to make a friend over the phone, PM me

Greatly appreciate all your advice and input and help, we still have many unsolved mysteries......

You might have better luck with this question over at msefi (standard firmware) or msextra.com (ms2/extra firmware).

There aren't that many people using the megaview if there are any at all on this forum, but over there, there are at least a few.
