Hello all!

I'm from a small engineering school in Indiana known as Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. We like cars here. A lot. So we have club that just races cars - our collection currently consists of an RX-7 ('85 I believe), a Mustang ('84... ?), and a Porsche 914 (early '70s I think).

Our 7 is currently down because of an engine problem though, which is what brings me here.

A little about me:
I'm a freshman electrical engineer with a great passion for classic Saabs. I'm on my third C900S (never had money for the turbo) at the moment - the first was a '91 which got rear-ended, the second was an '88 which I got with a bad head gasket which then proceeded to have a domino effect, and now I'm on a '93 which runs GREAT.

I've always done my own work on my cars, so I know how to turn a wrench. The only problem is... I know nothing about any car but my 900. If you're interested to learn a bit more about me, you can find posts of mine on www.saabcentral.com or www.stlswedespeed.com under the same username.

Thanks for the welcome. With the end of the school year in sight, we had elections. I'm now head guy on the RX-7 & treasurer for the club, so things ought to start getting a move on now.

We're about to start a complete rebuild of our 13B engine. It is currently in pieces on our countertop, waiting for... well nothing anymore. Time to buy new apex seals and general rebuild kit and then we're ready to go!
