WHere did this wire come from?!! HELP!!

Help!! I need to know where this sire came from. It was loose.... SO i'm thinking maybe the bold holding it came out but Ihave no idea where it came form. It originates on the drivers side front engine bay coming from the ac condenser possibly? heres a pic of it I taped the end off because it shot sparks all over when it hit a piece of metal..

Also does anyone know where the stock headlight's power goes to... mY lights wont pop up and the lights wont turn on either... thanks!!

Year/model? I'm guessing 3rd gen from the fuse box location in the pic.

Any wire that large will be coming from the battery. And since you said it sparked against the chassis, it's going to be off of the positive battery terminal. If your car starts with it undone like that, you've probably got a second positive cable connected to the starter. I'd guess that a previous owner ran some new cables, but kept the old ones too?

93 touring...... Yea I think it might be from the battery because the battery was relocated before I bought the car. But I can't remember it ever being open like this.. Could it possibly go to the alternator? or maybe even starter ? hmm...
