Well we did have meets at the Marysville Carl's Jr.. That is an option. I want to have another Wing Dome meet some time just because those wings are awesome! I live in Mount Vernon so its pretty far to make a lot of the meets down south but I will definitely try if I know ahead of time

we can try to revive the marysville meets on fridays. the main problem is that nobody shows up so if we are going to do this then people who say they are going to show up need to show. other wise it wont work.

Well the Marysville friday sounds cool. Im game. Question, anyone have a idea how many of us would show (guesstimate)for maybe a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly meet. I would like to eventually get a core group that would be able to meet always. Then maybe we could caravan and meet with other groups every once in a while (this is kinda what we did when I had a DSM years ago).

I would like to try to network to other Rotaries, and build a core. Im aware that the weather isn't goin to be the best in the following months, we can at least try though. What do y'all think?

This thursday at Dick's on 45th at 7:30pm normal RX8 crowd be there. Could just keep showing up at Mikies on Friday in Everett?

Oh and a guess how many will show up....EVER... 0 to 1 people. If more north than Olympia just suck it up no one will even show, just how it goes. Northenders curse.

i see... so if we can maybe have small core that can statisfy our family and work schedules we can maybe have a solid (small, lol) crew. Maybe we can attrtact others (or not). I know we dont have red rabbit anymore, he knew alot of people around here, so Im probally one of the few here in whidbey.

Well I would like to find more people, so Im gonna look at the Washington intro thread and see if I can network to some of them and get sumthin started. Its not like we live in alaska, there are pretty populated places around our area: Everett & Bellingham are good examples. Hell in this I've see at least 3 modded FD's in this lil town alone. I know there are more in Mount Vernon also.

Again, Ill look at the intro thread and try to pm some people.

I have the same sunday through thursday schedual, marrysville isn't a bad drive. I've been down there a couple time, never made the meet. But For the few of us here in whidbey it is a bit far. Nothing bad though, What about meetins in bellingham or Mt vernon? I'm totally down for caravanning with a group from Whidbey down to the marrysville meet. I enjoy a few drives down pacific highway, as often as I can make it. So outside of my work schedual I'm pretty flexible. I wouldn't even mind going to Cameno island for some group photo ops.

Jus caught a glimpse of this thread, sounds like a fantastic idea! Im way out in BFE, better know as Granite Falls, but driving out to marysville or mt vernon isnt too bad for me (I work in Smokey Point so its a daily for me), but im also retail so work schedule is never consistent. Always have sundays off, but i can request time off when we choose a date

Keep me posted! I want to do this!

I'd love to see the north-enders get their **** together and actually start showing up at these meets. Do I think it will happen? In the 10 or so meets I've been to I have yet to see more than 3 or 4 cars, so I'd have to say NO I don't think it will.

I appreciate honesty. Just bein real. That comment really motivates me, lol (synergy). Ok guys, it looks like we are gettin responses from people more now. Thats a good start. We have to get some more and we can come together with sumthin. The way I interpret this is: we have the people, its just the commitment. I mean, we are all friends on this forum but lets face it, its a lot better when we can all meet. We all know that we can learn alot about our cars and have a good time from meets. We all love our cars, lets prove it!

I understand that we are lookin at work schedules, so to be safe we can start this at maybe a month level. Therefore we can have plenty of time to make a day off from work (and hopefully not be rained out). Im gonna keep reachin out to others and get us a backbone to work with.

So true. Thursday at Dicks is always a strong showing. Might be to south for some of you but you can always come out once a month. Theres always a strong showing of Rx8s, few FCs a FB and Bckwood comes out in his sex FD.

Again my biggest problem is schedual. Being I'm military an alot of the the other north enders are, we can't just get a day off or change our schedual a bit. Its set in stone I work "Stay Check" 4pm till when the **** ever I get off work at night, sunday through Thursday, so the meets I can make would be friday or satarday meets, or morning/noonish meets close enough I can make it to work on time. Just the way it is.
