Tomorow is the day.
Yeap, tomorrow is the day. Going to do finally do the tune on my single turbo FD. I managed to sweet talk Ralph Friend (formerly of GZ) into it.
I won't have any dyno numbers, as I have access to a private road about a mile long, and that where we are going to play with it.
Here is a list of mods.
Pineapple Large street port
Holset H1E
3.5" exhaust
Power FC
M2 medium IC
Greedy elbo
GZ LIM
Coolingmist stage 2 kit, using the larger injector. Spraying ethanol.
Using VP 110 fuel.
HI-6 ignition system
850/1300cc injectors
Apex 3 bar map sensor
I honestly think that I'm going to run out of injector first, but my goal is to be around 500rwhp...not that I'll be able to tell how much rwhp I have. Hopefully Ralphy will give me a guestament.
Wish me luck guys.

Wow CJ Glad to hear you are on the final stretch of this longtime project. Sounds like you got a very nice setup there! I'm sure once Ralph tunes it you will be good to go. Good luck!
Is the Holset a new or used turbo? If it's used and you haven't run the car be weary... The used ones typically have shot seals and will bleed out your oil super quick. Not a bad choice for a turbo though. That Holset is definitely going to flow some air.
Wow, what a exhausting day.
Ralph did a awesome job with the driveability of the car. The car is 10X nicer to drive now. It wasn't bad before, but now its silky smooth. We started out with the base setting of 18psi. You know, for going out and getting grocerys, and taking Grandma to the train station. Then we worked our way upto 23psi.
In second gear it would roast the tires. Through 3rd gear it would still spin, so it made getting a consistent boost reading nearly impossible. That was fun! There was no way I felt comfortable enough to do 4th gear runs with the road we had. I asked Ralph what kinda power he thought it was putting down, he thought around 500rwhp, even running a 10ish A/F ratio. I have a feeling the 6 puck clutch I'm running isn't going to last very long. Ralph didn't seem to think so either.
The only scare we had was when I blew a boost controller line (always zip tie or glue them down.), and the motor saw 1.8 bar. In turn it blew off the map sensor line, causing the car to run super rich. It made my heart skip a couple beats.
My goal was to make some good power, while not sacrificing driveability, and still have a safety margin for those cool nights. Ohh what a good feeling to see everything come together the way its suppose to. I'm very happy with the car.
Edit: I bought the turbo off a guy who was going bigger. I can't remember his name, but I think it was Hx35W something. He was a local guy, and I haven't had any issues yet with it. Knock on wood.
