Best place to connect the vacumn line

Is there a preferred place to hook up the vacumn line for the MAP sensor? I am experiencing a lag in acceleration when I hit the throttle suddenly and wondering if maybe I have the vacumn line connected to a fitting that is not optimal. I have it connected to one of the vacumn fittings that comes out of the lower intake manifold just above the exhaust manifold. Would I be better connecting up to the throttle body?

That hesitation and getting my warmup settings adjusted seem to be some of the last initial things I need to work on until I can get some track time to actually drive the car.

Lag in acceleration when you stomp the pedal is usually an indicator that you need to work on your accel enrichment settings..

I don't think the spots that come out where you've connected it are collected between the two rotors though, which could end up giving you a bit of MAP jitter.

I just read through the tuning manual again to see if there was anything I missed and did see where hesitation would point to the accel enrichment. I am also going to move the MAP hose up to the throttle body to avoid any map jitter. But the car starts fairly quickly, idles super when warm, maybe better than it ever has and getting better each time I tweak it a bit.
