FB "Turbo I" anyone have pic of it?

Someone had said Mazda made a Turbo I... I think he said it had a Turbo along the side just like the Porsche Carrera's had Carrera. Any way I just wanted to see if there was such thing and what it looked like.

There were companies that made turbo kits for our cars back when they were newer and I'm sure some of the guys had turbo stickers like you said (I think I've seen some of them in my searching) but it was never factory.
As 74 said the only factory turbo first gen was just right hand drive, made from 83-85 and I don't think they made a whole lot of them. They did have a small badge denoting the fact that it was turbo, but not a large billboard type sticker like the porsche's.

I just talked to my freind he said that there was a guy in Cashmere WA who had one with the turbo on the side and all... He also think he had a FB vert also. He had only seen them in Cashmere a few time but they where alway same guy in that town. And he has been liveing in Kirkland for a few year so it been a long time sence he has been over there. But ya there was a guy how loved FB's over there.

Thanks guys.

I love how the pic of the steering wheel on the last page shows how much free play there is when sitting still.

also note the dash still retains the Series 2 gauge layout. The volt meter was replaced with a boost gauge.

Check this thread I just brought up in this section. https://www.rx7club.com/1st-gen-general-discussion-207/more-old-magazine-articles-801978/
It has links to articles on the 12A turbo engine (September 1984 163 HP RX-7) and several about some of the after market convertibles.
