ADR wheels?

My car had 18" Niche Shocking Shock wheels, put on by the previous owner until Monday night. I was driving from Portland to Seattle and a semi lost a load of railroad ties on the freeway and guess who hit them going 80? Anyway, all four wheels and tires are destroyed, and possible suspension damage, we'll see. It happened right at Centralia, WA and I got towed to a tire/wheel shop there (Les Schwab, same place the previous owner got the Niche's). Anyway, to make a long story short, I found out the Niches were only 7" wide! I always assumed they were 8" cuz the tires were 225s, but they always seemed to look so skinny to me. The shop said they could replace them with ADR Kasais, 18x8 in front, 18x9 in the rear with Toyo Proxes T1-Ss for rubber for very near the same price the previous owner paid for the 7" wide Niches! And, the truckers insurance will cover! A pic of the wheel:

Anyone have anything good or bad to say about ADR?

Hell yeah, I'd do it. Do you have an FC or FD? I can't believe somone would put 7.5s on an FD.

We carry ADR and this is a new style. It is a tight looking wheel, actually a spinoff of another lightweight manufacturer. I can't remember which one though, my mind is filled with so many wheel pictures that I have a little trouble with association once in awhile. hehe.

It would be a big improvement over the pimpin' type things. In my opinion, they're not racebred wheels, they're stlye bred. ADR however has both. Don't worry about weight, unless you want to spend a lot and absolutely need the functionality. What tire sizes are you going to run?

Post a pic later.

Thanks Rishie, yeah, I have an FD and yes the previous owner must have been a real bonehead to put 7's on it. Not to mention the shop where he got them for doing it. I mentioned the new wheels in the lounge and everyone got on my **** for not getting Advans or AVS mode 5s (the ones that the ADRs look kinda like) which are like $800 per wheel. Damn elitists. Anyway, yes the ADR's will look much better and I can't wait to see how the car handles with them. Hopefully there isn't any suspension damage.

Those wheels come in three different finishes

1) Silver
2) Ceramic coated look
3) Black Silver

I have seen them all and I think the polished looks the best..

Those wheels look nice but you can't get them any wider than 17x7. :-\ I didn't realize finding good, fairly-priced wheels in 17x8 would be SO hard. Everything is either 17x7. 18s are too big for me.
