Naturally its going to depend on springs and offset, but 275s are plenty wide. Play it safe. I have 275s on 17x10 and they are oh so close to the struts.

think a 285/35/18 will fit in the rear?

Since it is an 18, you can put 285s on it, but I would go with 285/30 not 285/35s. They will sit closer to the wheel, and farther away from anything else.

Hey just for the hell of it, have the shop also order 295/30 18s to see how it will fit on it.

WOW. 295s

It will probably require some chopping of things. I have seen a FD at Laguna Seca run 305s in the rear on 18s.

Right now I am running really low because of cut springs (not my doing)

I am putting on a set of stock springs in 2 weeks so I will be basically running on completely stock suspension. Car will probably look a little high due to the 18s.
