Finsihed body & paint - NEED ADVICE

Just wonderind what you guys think of my new paint job and wheel installation.
Any suggestions for a suspension set up and some easy ways to increase power. I already have a Boral exhaust, Iam thinking about adding a header. Did anyone here add a header and see a decent power gain. Thanks for all of your suggestions

looks nice, the threads immediately above and below yours talk about suspension and power.

yes, a header is almost a must-have item

Are those 17's? you actually have some tire on there, not rubberbands and I'm really impressed. the more I look at the color the more I like it. Did you take it to a shop or are you a paint wizard yourself?

You might post your power goals and then I'm sure someone will come up with an equation to get you there.

Header is a must have, rims look a little big vs the traditional look, "however", they are complimented with a decent size tire. Removing the side moldings, using a modern color combined with the rims really brought that girl up to date, almost like a restomod. Nothing but compliments here! As for suspension, my racingbeat springs have my car sitting too high, go with eibachs and tokico's. More pics please!

I'm personally fond of traditional stock colors...but I'm making an exception in your case. Nice choice! Love the rims too.

Looks great man, what size rims and tires are you running? A header will definitly get you a power gain.

Nice. I like how it trund out but are you going to put the triming back on,if you do paint them glossy black that would look killer.

Yes they are 17x7 with 205/40/17 tires. It handles very well. It needs to be dropped. Thanks for your postive comments.

I just put a RB headeron the 79 replacing the origonal thermal reactor system . You can notice a small change , but don't expect too much on a stock engine . You have to increase intake port size to take advantage of the freed up exhaust.

On the suspension , check ReSpeed in the vendors forum . A lot of first gen owners have bought his race spings and coil overs and rave about them. I put 200 on the front and 125 on the rear with tokico blues and lowered it 1.5 inches all around . This was a far more noticeable improvement from stock to the driving experience of the car than the header . Very tight in corners and only mildy spine jarring over speed bumps . Joe and dan at RPM Motrosports in Kitchener ( Breslau) are the Candian distributers for ReSpeed products and can install for you ( good guys , Rotary specialists)

Get smaller rims, get thicker sidewall'd tires, don't put stock trim on paint bumper black and front bumper thingy, get headers

Love the paint color, the rims kill it (Larger then 16" on FB never look right) just like bigger then 17/18" on fc doesnt look right

I always loved that color on teh 350z, looks just as good on a FB, very nice. Never been a huge fan of anything bigger than 15" rims on a FB, but the style of the wheel is pretty good. Have fun with it!

i like the color a lot. i personally think the black moulding would look great with it. not so much a fan of the wheels. they are nice but way too big for the 7.

Do you have any pics with the sun shining on the car. The one you posted has the sun behind the car and you cant see too well on how the tires fill the wheel wells.
