Ne rotary guys in Hawaii?
I just got to Hawaii about a month ago. Just trying to find some fellow rotary guy that might have some stuff I need to pass safety inspection.

rob golden of pineapple racing is a thief
This is my girlfriend's account. Her name is Kiki and about a year ago she purchased an FD from a guy who told her the engine was still under warrantee by Rob Golden at Pineapple Racing in Portland, OR.
She bought it and the engine almost immediately went bad. So, she had a guy remove it and ended up sending it back to Rob. Well, the engine was OUT of warrantee so the jerk who sold it to her lied. Typical. Also, Rob told Kiki (my g/f) that the engine was never paid for by the previous owner and he'd have to keep it. We didn't care because the engine was no good anyway and told him it was fine to keep the short block.
We found a guy in OK who sold us a short block because it was much less expensive than spending $4500 having Rob Golden fix it. We spend $2900 for the short block and asked Rob to send back the extra parts alone with the turbo my g/f bought over eBay and shipped up with her long block.
Rob said he would not ship back the long-block parts! Alternator, water-pump, original turbo, wiring harness, brackets, screws, injectors, oil pump, oil pan, piping, manifolds, clutch plates, flywheel, mountings and much, much more! INCLUDING the turbo we sent up in a separate box newly purchased over eBay for $800!
He kept it all. I kid you NOT!
For months he told Kiki he'd send her the external engine parts if she could prove the car was hers. Well, she did. It's been a nightmare. He keeps accusing her of not being the owner. Kiki had Rob call the UT DMV who told her the title has been in her name since before the engine was sent up. ROB said it was NOT good enough!
So, Kiki called Rob and told him she'd BUY the parts! HER OWN PARTS BACK! She was pretty upset about all this. Lost her original engine, lied to by the original owner, not under warranty, spend money removing the engine, money shipping the engine, and money buying another short block plus shipping and now she's screwed because Rob Golden won't giver the these parts back like he said he would. He's even got the turbo she bought over eBay for $800.
We called her lawyer who told her the parts aren't worth the money to take him to court. We live in Las Vegas and litigations must be set in Oregon! So, it's not worth it.
We're looking for good quality externals so we can get her FD up and going. Anyone got what we need for a good price?
Oh, and don't do business with Rob. He's a thief. We talked to the original owner who got the engine from Rob six years ago and told us he cancelled the check because when he got the engine in it didn't run right. He told us it never ran right.
So yeah, anyone got the externals she needs? Her excitement is all but gone for this car that *I* recommended she buys! Wow, what a mistake. We got screwed by Rob Golden pretty hard here.
