92 Type R from BC. Hello!
Hello everyone!
So, I am in the process of importing a JDM 1992 RX-7 Type R from Japan.
Black
5 Speed
Right Hand Drive
C West body kit
60,000 KMs
OZ Rims
HKS Coilovers
Apexi Power FC CPU
Exhaust (I'll find out what kind tomorrow)
Intake (Also don't know yet)
Dephi gauges
the rest is stock as fas as I know.
Plans?
Nothing too extreme. I'm happy with around 300WHP or so. A low 13s would be just great. The body is pretty good as is, and there's not much more I can do to the handling.
Previous cars?
Before this, I had a 2006 Mitsu Evo IX. So, I'm not exactly too knowledgable about rotaries or even RWD cars. I also have a 1970 VW beetle that I've rebuilt and repainted. Right now I'm driving my FWD NA Dodge Stealth.
As for myself?
I'm 22, and live in south-eastern B.C., close to the Alberta and Idaho borders.
I did 3 years of automotive and aerospace engineering before changing my mind and becoming an Air Traffic Controller.
I've always loved the looks of the FD, and I'm a huge fan of the rotaries. I love the uniqueness and ingenuity of the 13B I really look foreward to learning more.
I know this forum is going to prove invaluable to me, as not too many people around here are knowledgable about rotaries. I look forward to meeting you all!
