heat/air prob

i know of the issues with the logicon and the blower motor not working. i have this issue. i have 2 logicons, and one works all but the fan, the other doesn't even light up... i can add a ground to the ex-hi relay and get full fan (with either logicon), but trying to get the fan working properly.

wondering if it is more likely that the logicons are both bad, or that this could be caused by the fan transistor on the fan housing. i have tried to trace all of the wires and read many "my heat is not working" threads. everything sems to be getting power when is should, as far as teh connectors on the 8prong plug and the 2 relays...

so i am narrowed down to bad logicon power amp connection, or bad transistor.

sounds like a bad blower resistor or damaged blower amp on the back of the Logicon

there is not a resistor in an 89+ it is the transistor that handles that job... so you are thinking that i am barking up the right tree then.
