Any Minnesota people around? I'm in brainerd and I've spotted an FD, two FC's and several FBs near here. I race at BIR (drag racing) all the time and I'm getting started in Auto X this summer. Hit me up, maybe I'll see ya at the track.

 

I moved to saint paul this fall. My friend and his subie buddies go out auto crossing and drag racing when ever they can. As for me I might get into it when summer comes around too. But first I got to get better tires and suspension on my 89 Tii swap.

Well I will be moving to the other side of the river and joining you guys in MN, I will be moving to Minneapolis end of July.

I am originally from Pine River (30 mi north of Brainerd). I just got done building my single turbo FD last summer. I have been meaning to go to BIR but time has never allowed it. It would be awesome to meet out there sometime.

 

Yeah for sure guys, having an RX7 meet would be awesome! I'll tell ya whats up there in case you don't know.

Its always on wednesday nights. From about 4-5 til sundown. As many runs as you can get. You've got to have a helmet (snell) and your car has to be sound. Make sure it doesn't have any leaks, they'll throw ya off the track. FULL CLOTHING. Must have jeans and a tshirt, no shorts. Threw me and my dad off the track for that once. Other than that, its pretty straightup.

Are you guys sure on the legal adult thing for AutoXing? I'm 17 and BIR has no problem with me racing, hell they say they will but they've never even checked my license. I'll be pretty bummed if I can't autoX this summer. I just checked the Met-Council rules and they said you just have to have a license and have your parent sign off if you're a minor.

Anyone hitting up the AutoX this summer? Right now, I think I'll be there May 2nd and July 5th, probably more but I'm not planning too far ahead. Heres the site if anybody is unaware-http://forum.mnautox.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=3. Real nice guys there.

That's awesome, I turn 18 in may so I should be able to AutoX this summer, I wasn't able t last year though. I'll be definatly be bringing the TII and my friend will probably bring his TII also.

 

I don't know if you read my post, but you don't need to be 18. Just have a legal drivers license. Thats what I read on the rules on MAC.

Will you be bringing you TII to autoX? What does it look like? I'll be on the look out for ya, I'm shooting for being there on may 2nd.

 

Looks 100% stock from the outside but lowered. It's red too but I might be painting it black soon.
