arggg!!! need help w/adapter harness

so im having one hell of a time soldering up my adapter harness.
i got it all good on the ms side but the fc side of things aint going too well. i need like 3 hands to do it. does anyone have any tips for doing this??? i tried putting everything on a flat surface right next to each other but i couldnt get that to work. can the stupid thing be crimped or something. o and im using 18awg solid wire...

radio shack has helping hands it has about four fingers with clips on the ends that should help
also harbor freight has them too

That's not a good idea, should be using stranded wire.

Yeah, solid wire WILL break in a car. I wouldn't even recommend using anything Radio Shack sells for wire (very low strand count). You want the highest strand count 18ga wire that is readily available. Actually, 20 ga fits much better in the DB37...

UL1015 is the spec your looking for, UL1007 is OK if the wiring will be inside the cabin.

UL1015 is rated to 105 deg C
UL1007 is rated to 85 deg C
