Any FC 2nd gen interior work done?

hey guys, I was just curious if anyone with a 2nd gen FC has done a complete redo of the interior, such as cupholders, dash kits, vinyl painting, different center console, custom work?

I really want my interior to stand out and I would like to see if there is anything I can do to improve it.

Personally no cupholders is a downside and I heard about the 96 altima cupholder being able to fit underneath the CD player on the Dash, but what about clearance and shifting or installing it above the cd player?

Basically I would like to turn this interior into show quality. Oh, and what about Carbon Fiber kits and what not?

Don't let them get to you, it is parts of how they welcome new guys.

As for doing a swap, my old parts car had the interior swapped out and i did some when i swapped parts for the parts car to the you have.

Everything is easy until you get to the dash and headliner and front carpet (you have to remove the dash to replace the front carpet).

If you are ok with removing the ENTIRE dash, then it is not that hard. If not though (and this is something i would not want to do either) i would look for easier ways.

It is possible but i will not lie, it is a big job.

I'm looking to do the same I've already stripped the interior but for the life of me I cannot find a replacement dash board to white glo gauges the way I want. Nor the damn door panels. I found them once on google and couldnt find them ever again. Wanted straight CF door panels not that plastic crap with carpeting all over it. Carpet and seats and stuff are easy to find.

Yea, see you know what i'm talkin about. lol

Basically I want to do CF myself as well, but I'm just curious on how to go about changing the interior myself. I know that I can pay out the wazoo for custom interior but I'm not really lookin to do that.

Sure you need CF? There are kits to put leather on the door panels for pretty cheap and easy.

only thing i've done to my interior was a COMPLETE swap...literally everything from shitty *** grey cloth to nearly mint! retro leather red. sets headliner, carpet, dash, i've done it...took total of about 30 hours to get everything out and new in...and it was my first time EVERRR working on a rx7 period..( right when i got the car, ((((my first rx7 ever. )))))) so yeah big learning experience! but after that you can do anything in the interior of it.

check the group buy and vendor section regularly there are a lot of fabricators that ask for ideas of what to make and price goes down if several people are willing to go in on it with you
