New Guy with a 93 in Pa

Whats up guys, finally decided to regeister myself...I bought a 93 Rx7 about a month ago...I bought it for 14k, its a r1 touring with 63,000 miles, silver with black leather..Its in mint condition..i love this car

Its lowered with tein coilovers, also has a down pipe and mid pipe. Other that its completely stock.

What is the stock whp? Everyone that dynos has mods.

Nice looking ride & welcome. It can't be a r1 touring because they are 2 different models...... It is either a touring or a R1. I am gonna guess that it is a touring because of the front chin spoiler, the leather seats & the fact that it is silver (& they didn't make the R1's in silver......unless the car has been repainted). Sweet ride either way though. I live in near Reading, PA, so we aren't too far away.

A stock FD puts out 255hp & 217 ft-lbs of torque. I think it is roughly around 210-220wrhp.....but I am sure if I am wrong on that number I will be corrected.

Once you get your 5 posts, check the appropriate regional section for Pennsylvania. I do believe the RX-7 club there is fairly active.

If it is a r1 it would have 2 oil coolers instead of just 1(in the openings under your turn signals/front marker lights). It would also have a strut tower bar on the fronts. Having said that it isn't uncommon for these to be added by people through the years. The lip would also look like the one on mine. Does it have the bose sound system? I think they only came in the Touring models too.

Like I said before though, still a very nice car either way! Congrats on the pick up! Take care of it. It will be the most fun car you have ever owned and the most difficult car you have ever maintained (at times!). Good luck with it.
