2) tranny is hard to shift when the car's running (we did a simulation drive on the jack stands).
i'd have to put almost full force just to shift gears. as far as shifting when the car's off, it's fine.
then again, i haven't done my part to check if the tranny oil level is good.
i'll do that later after school...
any ideas would help. thank a plenty.
Just kidding
Maybe you just not use to it since your shifter bearing was shot in your N/A Transmission.
If you remember when we dropped in the motor to my car we didn't even have a throw out bearing in my **** and it feels fine when I shift.

1) now the slave cylinder leaks where the rubber boot covers that metal rod that pushes against the clutch fork.
other than that, the clutch is working fine, pedal feels the way its supposed to... but i feel it slowly loses pressure due to the leaking. just drips faster when stepped on it.
If you replace either the master or the slave, you need to replace the other.
Because that same fluid that screwed up the first one is sitting in the second screwing it up just as bad. So if you replace one, the other will fail in very short time.
So always replace both.

I bet its the "air" in his tires. they need to be changed at least once every 6 months. Air tends to get stale and if you dont change it on a regular basis, your car wont be "gas efficient."

mods, fell free to close this thread.
i can say my clutch problem has been solved by replacing the clutch line that was cut open,
and some what for the tranny.
the tranny definitely feels easier to shift,
but i think it's low on oil since there seems to be a little resistence.
other than that,
just gotta slap my calipers back on and call it a week.
