newb question
Hello all,
I picked up a set of tokico illumina 5 way adjustables with eibach springs.
They didnt come assembled and my question is which springs do I put on the front and which on the rear?
2 are thicker coiled but shorter, 2 are slightly longer with a thinner coil.
I would have assumed the thicker in the front however when assembling with the thinner coiled spring in the rear they require shimming in order to fit tight in the strut assembly?
I switched the springs around and put the thicker coils in the rear and all all springs fit on the struts tightly with no shimming. Is this incorrect? Should I switch it back so the thicker coil is in the front?
Thats kind of what threw me off a bit. Any response is appretiated.
Thanks again,

shimming? where exactly did you shim? you shouldnt have to worry about tightness of the spring/shock when theyre just sitting on the garage floor.
generally speaking tho, the longer springs go in back. so you prolly get them on right.

the springs dont need to be tight in there....
most lowering springs will have like an inch gap when sitting on the shock.
can you take a pic? cuz i still dont know what you're shimming.
