Winter RX-7 meeting

Hey guys,

Well I thought we were just taking our new Time Attack FC out to the track this weekend for some shakedown and testing but it turns out that this weekend 12/22 (saturday) is the Winter RX-7 meeting at Tsukuba Circuit T2000

We still have SOOO much to get done!!!

Anyhow for anyone interested in going here is a link.
http://rx7meeting.cocolog-nifty.com/..._200_f462.html

I thought I was going to make it through this winter with out having to pull any freezing cold all nighters working on cars but guess what that aint gonna happen!
Wish us luck in getting the car completed as well as in the races.
We are entering the car in the RX-7 Open A class (top class). The owner of the car is going to drive it This is the same driver that flipped the previous car and inspired the new build after he pulled his hand brake at 200kph when he didnt think he was going to make the back turn at tsukuba`s T2000 course.

I figure there can be three results.
1 The driver is scared and wont put down any decent times.
2 The driver will love the new car and fit in it perfectly and hopefully put down some times under 59 seconds. (a pro driver could put this car in the high 57's i think).
3 The driver will take a trip down memory lane and throw that bitch into another barrel roll hahaha.

If the car is not completed I will be letting him use my car just for shts and giggles.

I hate Kanto region they get all the fun with Rx7s, even though they are probably more common in Kansai and Chugoku regions. Someone needs to host an Rx7 meeting in Hiroshima or something!

Does anyone know of any car clubs south of osaka

There are some thumbnail pics off the blog here. http://rx7meeting.kaele.com/

But us non members can't see much except mini pics and time sheets.

Maru San in the White R-Magic car was quickest on the Wet track with a 1.02 (note: this is a 57sec car.)
CC had trouble in TA and only 1:04 in the normal sessions. (59 sec car)
