I have an 1987 or 88 Rx-7 It has only 105,000 miles and is driven 2500/year as I live in city.

I have spent $1000+ on this problem where they is some leak in gasket area
and even if I drive 4 miles BLUE SMOKE BILLOWS from engine compartment or from
below car.

This can be embarassing in San Francisco and it look like car it a mess.

Head Mechanice said he used mirrors, steamed engine, and still could not find leak.

Do I pull transmission or live with it?

take it to a compitent mechanic and ask them to do an oil dye test. should not take any longer then an hour
