Keep it stock, save up and when you can afford it do so. I broke the rear plate on my T2 on Oct 27th at the track. Had it running for 5 weeks. New motor goes in tonight hopefully.

intake, exhaust and ecu should get you another 40hp or more. Depending on what you do. Be careful as you can be replacing a motor after new exhaust and cool temps.

I've had those too. If a budget is an issue don't get a 3rd gen. You can't imagine how much they can cost after the price of the vehicle. Many you see on here have 15,000 plus into the car after buying it.

If you want to go fast for cheap on a 2nd gen.... don't even bother thinking about the 3rd gen. I am about 15k in the hole for parts and a motor. They are great cars, just addicting modding them, then you look at your bank account and want to cry.

I think you should sell me your clean stock 87 and save up for a FD. How much did you pay for it?

I paid $7500 for my FC with 53K miles and in pristine condition 7 years ago.

How much do you want for yours, you know you really want an FD.

I'll give you $4,000 for it right now. Show me some pics of it, if its really clean I might give you more. I want a totally stock TII to drive around and save my TII for the madness.

BTW - If its hard to start you have problem, my car never had issues starting up it always turned right over. You might want to do a Compression test.

Exactly why you should sell it now. You are not going to get any more money out of it if you do mods, it simply looses appeal and becomes like any other T2.

sell the car before you blow it up or rice it out

you do realize that you will probably just have a boost spike and kill the thing

I own the Blue Freightliner Dump Truck , I was there the day you was droping your Pu Truck for service . How is buss ? Is it picking up yet ?

I hear you , I bet you are anxious to give it hell LOL . Take your time brake it in and work on the fuel curve to avoid lean out as rotaries are very delicate under detonation .
