You will probably have to change the base fuel map for that combo. Unless you have a datalogit you'll need to send it to xs. I have a to4s single/1600 map

Is that the same map you posted to the datalogit group? I just got my car running today with the to4s and 550/1600 combo. I have the diy wideband ready to go, but would like a starting point.

 

I have the datalogit but i would like to have a base map so I can start tuning from there. I still can't log on the datalogit yahoo group. Would it be ok to use the maps for the to4s for my setup? Has anyone compared the T78 and the to4s maps? I'm fiinishing the injectors install today so I need a base map. Anyone else out there? Thanks!

 

It is hard for me to say which map is correct. I know that the t78 flows better upstairs so I guess I wouldusean xs single map as a base map, richen it up after 10 pounds of boost and adjust it from there.

ok, I just sent my computer out to xs for a T-78 base map with 550/1600. I should get it back on friday. I will try to post my maps up when i get it back. Maybe for a price. Just kidding!! Is there anything i should tell them to do while they have it? Thanks!

I have T-78 maps.. right now I am running four 850 CC injectors.. with the Datalogit. The power FC is reading 1.08 bar of boost.. and no blown engine yet on pump gas. I-of course- don't warranty the maps or anything, but they are working good for me. I am going to lean out my car a bit more today, as I am reading .87-.89 from the o2 sensor. e-mail me if you are interested in the maps. Hey guys, I have a t78 with fmic, dp, mp, cb, steet port, and 850/1200cc injectors. I am running the power fc but I am having the same problem, my damn car wont start at all. I have no idea what it could be. I know the engine isnt blown or anything like that because it ran for a few minutes one time. anyway, I plug the stock computer in, no starting.. I plug the pfc in, no starting. All the settings on the pfc are correct to my knowledge to what mods I have on my car. I have tried everything from increasing the injector size on my pfc, to decreasing the injector size. I still can't figure the damn thing out. I'm pretty sure the timing and fuel maps are right. (I got the maps from the pfc maps thread) But I try to start my car and it cranks and everything, but it wont turn over. If someone could please point me in the right direction I would quite happy. Thanks

 

Fuel, Ignition, Air (O2).

Is the gas old? (tip of the hat to Jason's experience on this one)

Are your plugs getting fuel? Are they wet?
If so, are you now flooded too? See ATF solution for flooded engines. You may need to ATF if the engine is new and not getting a good seal.

Are you getting spark at the plugs? Hook up a timing light to them.

Did a small rodent climb into your turbo and die? Air is getting in we assume.

What map did you use to try to start the car with?

 

I do! Wait...it's the one we tuned this last weekend!
