Anyone drag race bikes at PIR?

I just read the PIR website (which is crap..) and apparently you need a leather jacket to run, and leather pants if you trap over 120. is this enforced? i have a textile jacket, and no race pants. i expect to trap right around 120. i just dont wanna get booted after spending my 23 bucks...

The track guys are very strict. Basically the guys who race all have the one piece race suits and run REALLY fast. They are very **** there. Very safety oriented. Which is a good thing. YES you are going to have to wear your leathers. If you don't and you trap 120 you're gone!! It's that simple. They will most likely ban you... No joke. They are strict.

For example: if you run faster than a 14.00 you have to wear a helmet inside your car. One run and they wouldn't let me run again cuz I broke that barrier without a helmet.

Oh hey sorry I was talking about Pacific Raceways... I'm so used to people confusing it with PIR that I did so myself... Oooooooops... I can't comment on PIR, but I am going to bet it's safe to say that what it says on their site is definitely what you'll run into. SAFETY IS IMPORTANT at track events

i moved here from san antonio, where i trapped 125, with jeans and a textile jacket. they never said anything. i think their only rule for bikes was full leather under 10 seconds.
