wheels up!!!! fc draging a little bumper in the ne ..

well i lifted half way up i got sceered ..but either way my best wheely to date ..
the nos was on a progressive controller i was afraid if i didnt let out it was on its way to the roof ..

tuesday ..i was running test and tune ,but it was during the brackets ..if ya get what i mean ..i was testing ha!ha!

its a sbc with a plate ..has been 8.92@150
naa i wasnt running the gamblers race i was running in the test and tune lanes ..just not with the slower street cars ..

Sick setup man. Great job on it. I've seen some V8 swaps done in the past, but it seems like some of them did it half assed and they ran like crap. You did yours right.

thanxs in the beginning jpr helped me with alot of little ???and yes your right some swaps suck ...im an import guy that went v8 to go fast reliably thats it if i thought i couldve done it with a vw motor it would be in there ..maybe next time ..

Thats possible my buddy just went 12.46 at 113mph in his street beetle. He really isn't even pushing it yet, afraid he is gonna grenade the tranny.

my old vw went 10.7@128 street trim rabbit about 7 years ago..
but the vid i let out after the 60 ft mark and coasted to the 11.0 ..
there is no vw running mid to high 8,s .
my car has been 8.90 @150

i did over correct i was too buisy looking at my oil pressure gauge off the second wheely making sure i didnt lose pressure and hurt the motor on the way down ..i shouldve been paying more attention to driving ,,.

What engine setup. Vr turbo. I have been in the vw scene just about as long as I have owned a 7. Never owned a vw but i know a1's and a2's inside out.

1.8l 8v ...vr6 motors were just comming out ..and becoming cheap enough to mod ..
heres the car in 02 i think ..i believe i was the first street driven 8v in the 10,s joel with purle pill got there first but his car was 100% race car ..im probably still in the top 25 fastest vw ..zach v went 11.01 bet never got in the 10's ..
and paul wolf was the 1st fwd watercooled car to hit the 10 second zone ..a year or two before kevin black and joel ..and many years befor the vr guys from north jersey had cars ..
