From what I've been told, he had a hell of a time even getting it to run. A friend of mine asked him some questions about it before. And I've been next to him on Rt 50 heading into Ocean City during Cruisin' Weekend when he got on it - it's not exactly what I'd call fast. One blower would have worked out much better, and would have been more "bling" instead of "wtf is wrong with that guy?"

He may have taken a regular GTO and added the decals, but given how much was spent on the rest of the car, I'd bet it was once an authentic Judge.
I don't think so. You might reel in 25k for a clean un-cut judge but that one looks like it has been pretty well hacked up. I can see from the pics that the engine bay has been cut out and replaced with sheet metal and the rear end is tubbed out. 25K is a long stretch if you ask me for a patched up GTO that may or may not be a "Judge"

Whether it is a quality job or not is not the issue. I am only making the point that this car that has been cut and welded is not going to fetch the same premium price that a mint condition all original car will. You know it the same as I do. I've been around muscle cars, car shows and swap meets my whole life. No one is going to pay $25k for that car minus the motor sorry. As far as your dollars to donuts bet my old man owned a body shop for over 12 years. I will bet you that a sawzall was used on there somewhere. Not every shop out there uses plasma cutters like you seen on American Hotrod. Either way to argue over it is silly unless you or I know the guy who owns it which we don't.
I don't care either way. I was only cracking jokes. Who am I to judge what is worth the effort or not. I've dumped over 40k into my $16000 1993 rx7. Obviously it gets to be a labor of love.
