Mazda RX9??????
Just read about this car and how it was marketed. Anybody know anything about this????
Seeing as Jamie, Joe and Joe seem to like old iron, this would be a cool project car for someone. It is soooo ugly it is cool, looks like a 4 door Cordoba to me.

Joe, it's for sale in Greece for only 1,000 drachmas. The experience of having the only one in North America would be priceless.
The freight would be a killer though, LOL.

I was always a fan of the 2-Door RX-2's. I like the old school RX's. They remind me of a better day.
Your right about the 929. They chassis became similar to the Cosmo in the early 90's. You can even see the similarities when you look at them. Perhaps they were built on the same assembly line?
I know ALOT of Aussies use 929 components in their Manual Swap.

Actually, from what I understand there are a lot of them in Greece, Turkey, Poland, etc... The car was the 929/ Luce with a piston engine in most other markets around the world at the same time. It was only in these Eastern European markets where they were delivered with the rotary 12A and called RX9's.
From the Ausrotary site, that I ripped this off from, they now have many other shots of different RX9 cars and some links to Greek Autotrader-like sites where they are for sale. In fact there are shots of the car with single headlights as well. Even fuglier, LOL.
Just imagine the car, scratching the ground with 13x8 wire wheels, 70 series whitewalls, and a bridge 12A. Trying to have a cool lowrider look with a car that sits there going BRAP..BRAP..BRAP... ROFL.
OLD SKOOL RULES!!!!!!

(Actually I was a kid who had been driving for 4 years when this old skool was new tech, GAAAAAH)
