this fuel cut is driving me mad!!!!

someone please help me lol. its and 88 gxl swaped with an s4 13bt. for someone it wont fing go above 4 grand! the secondaries refuse to come on. the injectors are newly rebuilt. there not leaking. the fuel rail deffinetly has fuel runnning through it. the B.C.S is hooked up. the only thing i can really think of is wiring. Before i go and replace the ecu and the wiring harness, could someone please tell me if there are other sensors that i could have missid that would cause this probablom? i just cant understand why my car is doing this. im about to go "attempt" to read my engine codes with a voltmeter... somehow i dont think im gonna be verry successful with my quest but im gonna give it a try. someone save me lol.

Are you using anything to prevent the fuel cut? When you are at 4000 rpm...what psi are you boosting? TPS might be out of wack too. Hope that helps.

Read post #15 in this thread and do the checks I suggest.

Let me chime in here...

I checked the injectors in his car and they are fine. I statically leak checked them, and I click tested them. This car has me a tad bit perplexed...

The car will go above 3800, but it feels like its firing on one rotor. If you LIGHTLY accelerate above 3800 then it will transition fairly well, which leads me to suspect the boost (pressure?) sensor.

I should have pulled the codes when he was here too, but I forgot..

I think I am just going to have to get silly with the Multi-Meter and try to figure this one out.

Are the injector clips good?

I'd check those then start checking the wiring harness measuring the resistance from the wiring at the injector to the ecu.

Are the right impedance injectors being used? 87/87.5?

Yes, the clips are fine, and the impedance checks out.

Check the voltages at the MAP sensor by back-probing the connector. Leave it plugged in and unbolt the sensor from the body to get easier access to the wires. With the ignition on there should be 12V on the B/W wire, 5V on the Br/W wire, 2-3V on the Br/R (signal) wire and 0V on the B (ground) wire. Measure the resistance between the ground wire and the engine, it should be close to zero. If all that checks out check the signal voltage at the ECU (pin 2B).
