Not a bad looking hood from them. Vents look cosmetic only

Mmm... you know what is the sadest part. We waited for a RE body shop to replica one for us for so long, when a cheap ebay store already saw the market and made them ....

fastrotaries: i think you could ask your body shop to cut the vents out for ya and put in some mesh

That's been popping on eBay for quite awhile now. From the pictures it *looks* like you could open those vents.

I msg them on ebay. The block off for the vents are actually rain trays . So the vents actually work :P

nice hood if you own a race car... i think it is horrible looking, even the FG looks to be very wavy.

I'm doing some crazy ducting this spring. Trying to keep the car under 180* F, even under heavy loads. Drawing Heat out...will be good task to take on.

that looks like my hood, just black and those things you see covering the vents are water sills or snow catchers as I call them, but its like a few screws and they come off and the vents work.

right now its more like an overspray protector heh

The place selling that hood is actually right down the street from my house. I picked up the n1 hood for my FD from them, and my friend will be getting the FC hood soon. The vents do work, its is a rain gutter. I have seen and felt the hood, it is very nice material, well built. Its a mold from the RE n1 hood, withou the rear vents. On my fd i noticed a 3 degree C difference. and yes, they do make them in carbon fiber.

the stock hood is nice but you get tired of looking at a million TIIs with the same hood IMO.

personally i don't think i'd ever change my hood unless i had already done every last thing imagineable to my car as far as maintence and then reliable performance. That hood is too flashy for my taste but hey.....

I don't see all that many TII's around me at all, really more like I don't see any other TII's around here other than mine, so I really think the stock hood looks the best...

Stock hoods would work best with a TMIC but with higher boost and a FMIC a reverse vented hood works better .
