20b fuel economy?

ive been researching the 20b for a non-rx7 based project, and ive found all the information i need, except im curious about one thing. the fuel economy.

what are people getting on naturally aspirated 20b's? what about turbo 20b's?

thanks for any information anyone can give.

I care. There is no benefit to bad gas mileage and there are other sports cars with much better BSCF out there (and other engine swaps LS1). If people are getting **** poor mileage I'm sure those that have not committed to doing a 20b swap yet might like to know about it.

Some of us are just too damn lazy to tune the excess fuel out. Cruising down the road the other day i was in the 12 afr range and I said to myself, "I should do something about that" and did I? Of course not.

before I parted my cosmo out my fuel mileage was 3.5 km/litre with the stock turbos, and a FEED high boost computer. funny thing was it didn't matter how I drove it, if I had AC on or off, it was always around 3.5

when i changed to the IHI turbo setup it dropped to about 2.7~3 km/litre and it became very sensitive to how I drove it, but that was with about 600 RWHP too so it was to be expected.

I am not positive but last time I checked it was about 14.7 when doing about 80mph being good down the interstate.

I'm sure that guys that can afford a 20B aren't too worried about the fuel economy. No offense or anything. You pose a real legit question. But if you're worried about it, you might not want to get it
