Could I put a non sunroof headliner in my touring model if I took the motor and all the extras in there out? I never open it, and I could use the extra head room. I just thought that if everything was the same other than the extra room in the headliner for the sunroof motor and whatnot, that I could change them out and just store the headliner and motor away and gain some extra head room.

The entire roof is lower inside to make room for the sunroof, and its mechanisms. It would not be a simple project.

ive taken my sunroof motor, headliner, etc. and sealed the sunroof so it couldnt be opened before and it wasnt too difficult. I doubt it would gib you that much extra headroom if you plan to put a non touring headliner in its place though.

Yeah, but how bad does it look in there without a headliner? Pics?

I like my sunroof, even though I wish I did have a little more head clearance. I really need new seats.
