I know its been discussed before .. but what other options do I have besides taking my car to

1. Fuego Racing
2. Ortiz Speedshop

That can do the swap without a hitch? If one of the fellow rx7club.com members can do it, that would be cool too. I will have every single part needed to do the swap .. engine, trans, lsd, ecu's, injectors, etc etc

Also I wanted to spend around 600 bucks to do the full swap. Anyone know anyone ? lol

 

dude if your good with mechanics the job itself is actually not hard i would say the hardest part out of the whole job would be the LSD other than that the rest is drop in **** so your pretty much good from there if you do decide to do it yourself let me know i can help you with a full step by step on how to... pm if anything

the problem there is that i live at an apt complex. im pretty good with stuff like this but I also dont have many tools up here .. i.e. a picker and other (i basically have sockets, screwdrivers, and the usual stuff you carry around).

i mean i dont see how it could be that difficult, i just dont have the means to do it myself

 

I don't think any one would do a swap for 600 dollars. Maybe 1200.

well if they quoted you 600 bux, what warrenties are you getting??? if you are getting a warrenty on the job for at least 6 months, **** man, let any one of them do it. both mechanic in my opinion are great, itsd all about picking who...

 

tweak,ACLinks and me are doing the turbo swap in his vert.
let you know when, to get the tweak conversion method
600$ motor, tranny, rear, swap harness, computer...

so I cannot vouch for him, he sells parts on ebay also, there are a lot of people at races today. ask some of the crew who were at Association caravan, someone knows someone
