Japanese car day Brookline MA

Hey guys in the Boston area.I was wondering if anyone was interested,or plans on going to Japanese car day at the Larz Anderson auto museum on the 14th of October?I plan on going there, and I think a few people(I hope lots) from the MARX-7 club will be there as well.I have been going for the last few years with my RE/PU,and I plan on bringing my 79 GS this year, and maybe the RE/PU if I get it registered. There has been a small mazda rotary turn out the last few years, and I was hoping maybe we could have more of these fine cars represented this year.

If you guys have never been there before the Larz anderson meseum has a nice lawn for car events, and the good people from the Datsun Roadster Owners of New England(D.R.O.N.E) put on a good event with small japanese prizes like Sapporo beer, and such.It is always a fun time, and I am hoping this year will have the type of weather we have been having the last few years, but I am a bit worried as it is in mid October this year instead of early October like the previous years.

I think registartion is $10,and you stand a pretty good chance of going home with some sort of gift(I won Beer last year). It is a good time with lots of cool people from all walks of life, and some unique antique cars, and the typical newer japanese tuner cars mixed in.I hope to bring both of my rotaries, but it may not happen.Let me know if you guys plan to come by so I can let the event organizers know how big of an area we need for the mazda crowd.

You can check out www.mot.org for more details,or pm me if you have questions.Pray for good weather.

Well, it falls on the same day as the Union Fair Rally-X event, but luckily that event goes two days so I'll go to Larz on the 14th and tear up the dirt on the 15th! I wish I could do it in the opposite order though; would be nice to show up there in a mud-covered MR2 with dirt tires
