gauge says I am loosing compression???

I recently did the MMO treatement where you put MMO in the trailing plugs I think it was ( I did what ever Bob RX& said to do)..let it sit 24 hrs and then started the car the next day. It smoked all over the place like Bob rx7 said it would . I drove the car and ever since, the oil gauge reads about 45 -vs- almost 60 ??? I got a "drop" in oil pressure rather than an "increase" ???...That seems stange to me...My gauge could be off I guess ...WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK????... The car has not lost any power or anything and actually runs pretty good...There is a funny noise in the exhaust area like there is a loose bolt clanging in the cat or something. Is the cat shot???Does any of this have anything to do with the loss in oil pressure (according to my gauge anyway)... Your comments are appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....cjf................ .....................

my oil pressure usually reads 45, i have read that oil pressure guages sometimes can be off, could have a slight clog in the oil sending unit, might clean it or replace it ,but your pressure sounds ok,,,the rattling sounds like a burnt muffler if its a glass pack they dont last,, but u should be able to feel a good amount of exhaust from the tail pipe, if not, u got clogged cat, have read that atf treatment could (?) affect cat but u did the mmo......could be just a loose pipe hangar under the car,,i had two defective hangars, i thought my e-brake cable was rattling,,,,,,

The MMO probably seeped past the oil seals and thinned out your oil a bit. Change your oil and filter and everything sould return to normal. As for the cats, I dont know, but the MMO may have clogged the cats. Jason
