what you guys think of these rims? there deep dish rims 18 by 8.5 and 18 by 9.5 and they weigh just under 19lbs!! also includes 1 yr warranty!!!

 

They look real nice, and the the polished lip looks great against the black. This is going on an FD, right? Who makes the wheel?

I think they are a good wheel, especially if the price is right. Those wheels will look sweet on your silver FD!

you should verify that these wheels are under 19lbs if you're paying a good amount for them. stern wheels and ADR are distributed under the same company, and both are similarly priced - meaning they'll probably be from the same manufacturer, and thus same WEIGHT.

for that size & weight, people are paying a huge premium for japanese wheels like work, volk, etc... so just wanted to give you a heads up incase you were expecting light as a feather wheels in that size.

in any case, cant wait to see how your car looks with it! our next meet, we'll have 3 silver FDs with black/polished wheels & 99spec

 

What offsets?

 

Make sure the offsets are correct before you waste your money!

 

Those remind me of ADR Msports in black. Most likely it's a +35 front and rear, since most of those copy rims are around there. That's gonna be pretty tight.

And they don't look that "deep" to me either haha.

 

front offset is 32 and rear is 35

+32 in the front is not going to be good at 8.5". Stock is 8" at +50.

 

Yeah I dont think the fronts are gonna fit. The back's will fit, but be warned about rubbing since +35 is gonna be pretty tight fit for that too.

Yes I'm pretty sure they won't fit in the front.

I'm using 17x8 +35 in the front and that's pretty flush as it is.

well i just found out for my couple of peeps they said it will fit wit no problem!! i dont know!! i am confused now!! let say i do buy these rims how can i make them fit like u guys say they wont

 

Dont waste your money on improperly sized wheels. Doesnt matter how good of a deal it is if they arent fitted correctly. You may be able to get away with it, but you wont be able to run any larger than a 225, and you wont be able lower the car any, and you still may have issues under heavy cornering. Those sizes and offsets are more suited toward an FC.

 

k so what offset should i be looking into then because he said he has in different offset too the same wheels!! plz tell me ASAP

 

Like a 40 would be ok. One of my friends ran a 18x8.5/9.5 on +40's all around.

If you REALLLYYYY want those other wheels, you could possibly fit them using like a 225 on the front, with pulled fenders, with no lowering etc.. I wouldn't recommend that though.. just get proper fitting wheels to begin with..
