Need a little help with 3.0 assembly

ok so im at step 50, and its talking about tach signals. It says you can install the Hall/Optical/points circuit, and/or install the reluctor sensor. Then it says to check to see if your ignition is on the list. Sence rotarys use coil packs i would go with the direct coil control link and follow thoes instructions? Im really confused about this part of the build, so any help would be apricated.

Basically it gives you the option of only installing what you plan to use. I just installed all components for all types of ignition..then later install the jumpers to use the ignition of choice. Example I am using the VR sensor from the 2nd gen CAS to trigger ignition, you may need a different method depending on your engine and ignition. If you use the VR sensor solder in jumpers to VRin to tach select and Vrout to to the inverted hole on the bottom of the board. More info on that on the V3 no spark thread here. Good luck.

you want to solder vroutinv to tsel....

Also, it is un-necessary to put the direct-coil control stuff in, as your ignitors are going to be driven by the LED's using 4.7Kohm +5v pullup resistors.

You'll also need to build a second vr sensor conditioner if you weren't planning on cutting teeth out of your CAS.

ok i get it. So just for reference skip step #65 in the build and contiune on to step #66. Step #65 states

"It is choice time again. In this case, you will decide whether to populate the high-current ignition driver circuit. This circuit can be used to drive a single coil in a distributor application. In conjunction with an appropriate input signal (from a VR, Hall, or optical sensor, or even points), it allows you to eliminate a separate ignition module, such as a GM HEI 7 or 8 pin module, and run the coil directly from MegaSquirt"
